Milk

The first milk is stubborn and thick
like pollen, my body makes it with ease.

The second is an illusive blend,
silky-thin, I catch it in glimpses.

My child doesn’t catch enough...



KS Moore is a Welsh poet based in Ireland. Her poetry has recently appeared in The Honest Ulsterman, Boyne Berries, The Lonely Crowd, The Stinging Fly and Southword among others. She was recently shortlisted for Trim Poetry Competition and Americymru West Coast Eisteddfod Poetry Competition. She blogs here.
