POEM Bryony Littlefair

NWR Issue 117

Men's Therapy Group, Room 6

Something was born in the room and we didn’t know what to do with it. Or rather it wasn’t born, not exactly, it was more like it had always been there and we’d only just become aware of it. And now there was no going back, as with asbestos, or bedbugs...

Bryony Littlefair currently works at the Abbey Community Centre in Kilburn and focuses on work with older people. She is also Project Coordinator for The Reader project in Croydon. Her Mslexia prize-winning pamphlet Giraffe was released with Seren last year. Her poetry has previously appeared in Potshot, The Cadaverine, Clear Poetry, and Ink, Sweat and Tears. Her website is here.
