A club, by chance. How long had it been?
It had mattered and it hadn’t, was as much betrayal as bad taste.
She searches for a minimum, glad of the good dress.

Charlie Bird is a Londoner living in Wales. She is working on poems, including one in her mother’s voice. She will perform it in a nightie with a cup of tea at some point. She also works at a cafe and spends time with her family and friends.
