Roz Goddard is a poet and short fiction writer and has published four collections of poetry. Her latest collection, The Sopranos, Sonnets and Other Poems
, launched at the Ledbury Poetry Festival in 2010, and was subsequently featured on R3’s The Verb. She is a former poet laureate of Birmingham and her work is permanently displayed on the wall of Birmingham Museum’s newest gallery. She was awarded an Arts Council England bursary in 2011 to work on her next poetry collection. A story, ‘Careless Green’, will feature in a new anthology of stories published by Tindal Street Fiction Group to be launched at the Birmingham Literature Festival in September 2013. ‘Dressing’ won the NWR Flash in the Pen competition for a story in 100 words, judged by Cynan Jones, this spring.
